  MRI Diagnosis of Uterine Leiomyoma in a 29-Year-Old Woman: Radiologic Interpretation, Pathophysiology, and the Emerging Role of Artificial Intelligence Clinical Hook "Doctor, my periods have become heavier every month... and I constantly feel pressure in my lower abdomen." A 29-year-old woman presented with several months of progressive pelvic pressure, pelvic pain, and prolonged heavy menstrual bleeding. These symptoms had gradually affected her daily activities and quality of life. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was performed to investigate the underlying cause. The examination revealed a large, well-circumscribed mass arising from the anterior wall of the uterus, displacing the urinary bladder anteriorly. The lesion demonstrated low signal intensity on T2-weighted imaging, isointense signal on T1-weighted imaging, and heterogeneous enhancement after contrast administration—features consistent with a uterine leiomyoma.
